Map
This adventure started in 2008 with the idea of visiting the remote logging camps I grew up in.   Needless to say, it took an incredible effort and tremendous support from numerous people around me--especially my wife who has supported me throughout this entire process.

The adventure began 6/27/09 and lasted 50 days.   The trip started and ended at Boston Harbor Marina in Olympia Washington, and included San Juan Islands, British Columbia Canada, and some of the most remote places in Southeast Alaska.  We met numerous incredibly generous people along the way, and had nothing but positive experiences.

The red route on the map is northbound, and the black route is southbound.

Final statistics for the trip:
3.16 average MPG
19.23 average MPH
187 engine hours
1139.67 gallons consumed
3596 miles traveled
50 days
71.92 average miles per day
1 dollar per mile estimated cost
